In 2009 I became an aunt for the first time. My niece took to calling me A Yi, which is auntie in Mandarin (and her father’s first language). To everyone else I am Jessica. This blog came about as an outlet from my day-to-day life and a way to chronicle some of the things I am passionate about.

I moved to NYC in 2008 for Law School and quickly fell in love with everything this city has to offer. Throughout my years in NYC, I’ve put a lot of miles on these city streets. I’m a lifelong runner, but my dedication to racing has been a progression. In 2011, I ran my first half-marathon and my first marathon.
